Humanitarian Work and Associations

 During her life, Princess Diana was invloved into many charities and associations. Her most remarquable work was undoubtebly for the people with AIDS. The picture of the Princess shaking the hand of a HIV-positive person choked the world and made the people react. 
In her lifetime she supported more than a hundred of associations. In 1996, she declared she wished to slow down on the number of charities and get more involved only in a few. At the time of her death she was supporting actively 8 associations : American Red Cross, Centrepoint, the English National Ballet, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Leprosy Mission, the National AIDS Trust, and the Royal Marsden Hospital.
 
After her death, the Diana Memorial Fund was created to continue her work and help other charities.
