Charles and Diana met several times before being a couple. She had been a real comfort when
he was devastated by the death of his godfather, Lord Louis Mountbatten, in 1979. They are officialy engaged on 24 February
1981 and got married on 29 July 1981 at St Paul's Cathedral in London. The following years are getting difficult, the 'Camilla'
as well as the 'Hewitt' affair put the couple in danger, the pression of the media didn't help. They separate in 1992. William
and Harry go see their mother at Kensington Palace whereas Charles lives in Highgrove.
