Diana Frances Spencer was born at Park House, Sandringham in Norfolk,
England on 1 July 1961. Her parents, Edward John Spencer and Frances Ruth Burk-Roche, married on 1 June 1954. They had 5 children : Sarah, Jane, John (he only survived 12h after his birth), Diana and Charles. They divorced in 1969 after her mother ran off with an other man, Peter Shand Kydd. In 1976, Lord Spencer remarried to Raine, Countess of Dartmouth although she was never accepted by her step-children who
nicknamed her "Acid Raine". Since the death of Albert Spencer, the 7th Earl Spencer in 1975, Diana is known as Lady Diana Spencer and her father as Earl Spencer. They moved
from Park House to the family estate, Althorp. During their childhood, Diana and her siblings had to go up and down the country to see their parents,
her mother living in Glasgow, Scotland.
