Diana went to school at Riddlesworth Hall, Norfolk and to West Heath Girls' School in Sevenoaks,
Kent. She wasn't a brilliant student although she excelled in swimming, diving and dancing. She could have been a great ballerina
but she didn't take any special training and was too tall (5'10" = 1m78 aprox.). At 16, she went a few months to Institut
Alpin Videmanette in Switzerland. She moved to London and lived with 3 flatmates. She worked as cook, dance teacher, cocktail
waitress, aide at the Young England Kindergarten.
